What does it typically cost to service shock absorbers?
The price of a shock absorber service is determined by the number of parts to be replaced, the oil and the time spent dismantling the shock absorbers. There is a large amount of technology and various shim plates inside the shock absorber, which may be damaged or otherwise in need of replacement. When a shock absorber is opened, it is usually prudent to replace worn and possibly damaged parts. This ensures that the benefits of shock maintenance are not lost and the service life of the shock is extended.
If the maintenance is carried out in accordance with the maintenance intervals and instructions, there are usually no major surprises in the price of the impactor maintenance.
